West Sacramento’s Early College Prep charter school—which the �����о��� School of Education helped found and manages—is in a new location at Westmore Oaks Elementary School in West Sacramento. The program admitted its first class of ninth graders in August. In this photo, student Yajaira Partida, center, talks to her classmates about food from around the country. Hoping to give underserved kids like these a strong education that will prepare them for college, �����о��� joined with Sacramento City College and the Washington Unified School District in West Sacramento to launch the school in 2007.
